New Acquisitions

Items in the collections at The Field Museum originate from donations from individuals, museum expeditions, collaborations with communities, exchanges with other museums, and purchases. It is the responsibility of The Field Museum to care for objects and specimens related to the natural and cultural history of the world and to do so in a legal and ethical manner. Today we collaborate with communities to curate and strengthen the collections and our understanding of the Philippines.

Interested in donating to The Field Museum's Philippine Heritage Collections? Please read our current guidelines for donating objects to the Anthropology collections.
