Stock. | Name: Gonong :- Small knife with wavy two edge blade like a kris. Fancy brassguard. Wooden handle carved inlaid with beads, brass and white metal. This knife was used to kill the chickens sacrificed to the gimokod (see notes). At the time of its purchase a similiar knife was rubbed on it while the dato of Mambuaya urged the spirits to accept the new knife, and not tobe angry because this one was sold. |
