At the time of its sale, the dato rubbed the blade with betel nut and leafe and later with water. Thus he applied later to another knife. Meanwhile beseeching thespirit to enter the new bald. (See further under ceremonies). This knife is probably of Moro manufacture but the sheath and its decoration is typical of these used on the better fighting knives. Used for fighting only. | |
