Inscised pattern at top. Guard of cutout type with one side longer than the other. Two bands of reinforcing metal on either side. Hilt is covered with twine. Pommel is carved piece of ivory. B-Scabbard is a heavey, dark grained wood in 2 sections, one the sheath itself and the otherthe section are the guard.
