Which it draws upward. When X is drawn up it faces the knife down on the block attached to 1. When operator wishes to raise knife to admit the hemp he presseshis foot on 2 and depresses it; then faces a down on x and raises the blade. F.F is a frame in which hemp strips are laid until needed. Knife is called Hagotan. Timber 1 Batang[BACK] the fiber from the pulp. It is hung on a crotch Y and is later put in the sun to dry.
