[1115 was crossed out] | [Cursive capital L.] |[BACK] Such an outfit is used by an aged person or one where teeth are so mutilated as to make it impossible for him to chew. One of the boxes contains lime; the other leaves, tobacco and betel nut. A small green betel nut is cut open and a liberal supply of lime sprinkledon it. A leaf is wrapped about this and all is placed in the mortar and is then mashed into a soft mass by means of the steel pestle. Tobacco is often added to the mixture. The names of the parts are. Mortar- tosokan; boxes- kapolan; pestle- logsak; chain-sangkáli. Bagobocasting. |
