Description scan of catalog card[FRONT][MAIN BODY] Chicago Natural History Museum - Ethnology. | [Field Museum Subject Code written in red] 34-18 | Provenience: Oceania Philippine Islands. | People or Culture: | Object: Basket with smaller basket in lid. | Material: Grasses | Description: Basket with dark and light browncolored grasses used in the coiled weave. Basket has six sides which meet a shoulder going around top of basket and upon which the mouth of basket is built. The lid fits over mouth and out of center of lid another smaller basket is formed. This too has a lid which fits overthe mouth. The design is made up of angular lines and triangles.
