[1115 was crossed out] | [Cursive capital L] | [BACK] and certain portions are wrapped or overtied so that when the thread is dyed these covered sections do not receive the coloring matter. After dyeing this overtying is removed and the wool threads are woven in. The dyes are all vegetable. See further in notes. |
