Bird Trap
A bamboo pole with sharpened ends has a spring of the same material attached to it. A cord from this spring passes through a small hole in the top of the upright and then forms a slip-noose. A small bamboo stick, or trigger, is forced into the hole until firm enough to keep the line in place. The noose is then spread on it. Bait is placed on the point of the upright in such a manner that the bird must alight on the trigger to secure it. The weight on the stick loosens the line.. TINGUIAN.
