Women's Anklets (sing-gil)
Anklets are cast in such a manner that a central groove is left open, and into this shot are placed. Two or more of these are worn on each leg, so that as the woman walks they rattle and clatter on each other. It is probable that this type of ornament has been introduced through trade with the tribes of the Davao Gulf. BUKIDNON. North Central Mindanao, Philippine Islands. RObert F. Cummings Expedition.
