Warp Winder
The warp in double threads is drawn from a basket on the floor, and after being attached to the end pin the length of the frame and around the corresponding pin. It returns to the starting place and back again, passing alternately before and behind pin number two, and above and below the central beam. A second basket furnishes a thread which loops over each second thread passing in front of pin number three, thus forming the loops which are supported by the first lease rod of the loom, and aid in maintaining the relative positions of the warp threads.
